What is illegal charter? Illegal charter occurs when a company offers air travel to the public without having the proper authorizations from the Federal Aviation Administration. Unfortunately, it is more common than you would think. The FAA has strict requirements that must be followed and it will increase a company's operating cost to follow the rules. It should be a warning sign if the price quoted is too good to be true. We work closely with our local FAA office to ensure we offer the best service possible. The FAA has made operator specific information available to the general public. You can search the company you are considering to charter to verify they are legitimate. Feel free to see our information, too!
